Bernhard Christensen (1906-2004), was one of the greatest Danish Jazz pioneers in early 1930'ies. Composed several Danish jazz melodies, of which only a few were saved on 78rpm and on the sound track of the Danish tourist movie "Danmark" from 1935, directed by the Danish architect, author and designer Poul Henningsen (PH). Bernhard Christensen was a big personality of Danish jazz and he had a great influence on Danish jazz and swing during 1930-40'ies. Bernhard Christensen arranged many international jazz melodies for Danish 78rpm recordings, especially during WW2.
