i am soo glad that you put this out. i thought it was either about the girl you have not met yet, OR about a father that has missed out on his daughters life growing up, and is singing this to her. And he has is telling her that he's on his way, and to leave room in her heart for her father, even though he's missed so much of her life. either way, it's beautiful! :)

I think it is crazy how different people put different meanings to this song.

For me, I thought of my baby sister. I tried to be the big sister I always wanted to her, but money and family issues seperated us. Yes, I missed out on so much of her life. But, there will come a day where I will make up for it. I'm on my way<3
