I had a dog who would do that, on demand (you just had to make a claw with your hand and try to sneak it towards him, like you wanted to pinch him), like to play, BUT he would still bite your hand if you came too close (only to get very quiet right as he realized he shouldn't have bitten for real). I'm still not really sure myself how my dog felt when he was doing that.

@FuzzyCowCow He's not mad. That's just how he talks to you. He wouldn't hurt a fly. He's really a big baby. :) It's kinda like how cats purrr.
