My pepper garden has been booming all Summer! Every pepper type has thrived except the Seven Pod which didn't like the extreme heat of mid-July. But, even the Seven Pod finally wound up producing 25 peppers, My biggest success has been the Naga Morich plants with in or around 200 peppers spread over 4 plants. I have lots of pepper types I have never grown before. Some of them have decent heat levels and some are disappointing. See my most recent video "Six Peppers in Four Minutes" for more details.

I have somewhere between 1100 and 1200 peppers to harvest in all. I am pretty sure that this year beats last year. For sure it does where heat levels are concerned...thanks to the large number of Nagas I have in the garden.

In this video, I discover a surprise guest star. You will have to watch the video to find out what I am talking about. It is a very welcome guest in any garden as I am sure you will agree.

Thanks again and always for watching my videos. I really do appreciate it. I also like it when you comment on and rate my videos and subscribe to my channel. I enjoy interacting with all of you. Thanks so much!

  • This makes me very happy in my strange chilihead way, thanks so much for sharing & keep up the good work. You have inspired me to grow more variety's (so far have scotch bonnet chayenne, jalapeño and some thai finger chili) many thanks!

  • @jords420 - Thanks very much for this really nice comment!! It is great to know that my video has made you happy and inspired you. You have some awesome peppers growing. Thnak you for watching my video and taking the time to post a comment. Good luck with your garden.

  • I am very impressed with your variety. great job! what do you do with these? I have been experimenting with different hot sauce recipes.

I am not sure if the comment was open to the public but I am interested in a few seeds also? you know cross pollination might be interesting to grow. that is how most of the hot peppers were found! :) Let me know.

  • @gocougs210 - Thanks for the kind words gocougs210. I mostly dehydrate the peppers and turn them into a powder I cover my food with. I cook with it and use it as a condiment. The comment is certainly open to the public and I'd be happy to send you some seeds. Again, send me a private message with the types you'd like and your address and I'll get some out to you. Thanks for watching my videos. I appreciate it.

  • I was checking out most of your videos and you have an outstanding variety of peppers. By any chance would you be willing to sell any of your hot pepper seeds?

  • @TheRastaRick - Hi Rick. Sell seeds? Never! But I'd be happy to send you some - no charge. The only thing to keep in mind is that the seeds could be cross-pollinated since I have my plants so close together. I have so many seeds that I will never use. I'd be happier thinking that they'll have a chance at life and make someone happy in the process. Just send me a private message and let me know what you'd like, with your name and address and I'll try to accommodate in the next couple of days.

  • @katrinagarden That's fantastic Katrina! I am glad that you've decided to give the fatalli a try. They are really great peppers! Thanks so much for watching my videos and leaving the comment. I really appreciate it.

  • @katrinagarden - Interesting suggestion. I have never added epsom salts to my soil. The leaves were all mostly a fairly healthy green. The only plants that had a lighter, though not actually yellowish hue, were the Seven Pods. The colours seem a bit more washed out on the video than they were in actuality. Thanks for the suggestion.

  • @tmudder Thanks. I appreciate your watching my videos and taking the time to post a comment. Really very nice of you.

  • @GrowSomethingGreen - Thank you so much for leaving this great comment on my video. I really appreciate it. If you feel inspired after watching it, that's very flattering. Good luck with your 2012 garden!
