Having a picnic in Aoyama Cemetery in the middle of Tokyo, we were surprised to be joined by a large, noisy raven, who seemed to want some of our food. I tossed him a piece of natto sushi which he picked up and carried to a post a few feet away from us. He first ate some of the natto out of the end of the roll, but then figured out how to break the nori wrapper, and he unrolled it, eating the natto but leaving the rice! He had to repeatedly stop to wipe the sticky natto off of his beak.
oooh raven in a cemetery, I think that's pretty creepy to me

cool that building in the background looks alot like a building here in Halifax, NS.. South end... I love ravens/crows they are much more smarter that people give them credit...
I just posted a raven vid I took today, he picked up a chocolate bar I put down for him... have a look in my channel if u want..

tearing a piece of sushi apart is no different than a raven plucking feathers and tearing apart a dead pigeon to get at the innards.

lol that's awesome. I'm surprised s/he managed to open up the roll. Not like it broke open accidentally.
