The motto of the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino is Maximum Vegas. Between the MGM Grand Garden Arena, the Hollywood Theater, the on-site Cirque du Soleil show and the 171,000-square-foot casino, this hotel successfully delivers all the energy and fun guests expect from a mega-resort during their Las Vegas vacation. Located right on The Strip, the MGM Grand is one the few Las Vegas hotels to merit its own monorail stop.

A modern day Emerald City, the 30-story hotel has a green glass facade thats guarded by a 45-foot-tall bronze lion, the symbol of the MGM movie studios. True to its name, the hotel evokes the glitz and glamour of the Hollywood golden era, from the white marble lobby to the Art Deco interior design. Guest rooms are appointed with sleek Deco-inspired furnishings, curved couches and lacquered woodwork. The hotels Las Vegas Suites categories (Premiere, Hollywood and Celebrity) boast upscale features, like mirrored whirlpools and vaulted ceilings, as well as expansive terraces overlooking the neon lights of The Strip. Most bathrooms are done in imported Italian marble with televisions embedded in the mirrors of the oversize vanity counters.

Guests of the hotel will find some of the most diverse dining Las Vegas restaurants have to offer. The hotel has 10 fine-dining establishments, many of which are helmed by celebrity chefs, as well as several casual restaurants, cafés and coffee shops. Chef Joël Robuchon serves traditional French cuisine at his eponymous restaurant, which maintains limited seating for an intimate atmosphere. Several well-known restaurants have opened outposts at the MGM Grand, including Tom Colicchios Craftsteak, Wolfgang Pucks Bar & Grill, NYC mainstay Fiamma Trattoria & Bar and Michael Minas modern American Nobhill Tavern. More exotic flavors are served at Pearl, a high-end Chinese restaurant, Shibuya, a traditional Japanese and sushi restaurant, and Diego, which features an authentic Mexican menu.

Just like the Hollywood golden era, the MGM Grand Las Vegas hotel casino is home to plenty of glitzy nightlife. The hotel has several distinct lounges, dance clubs and bars, the most famous of which is the newly reimagined Studio 54 dance club, which keeps the music going until the wee hours of the morning. Vida! is the spot for Latin-infused beats and dancing and Tabú Ultra Lounge features international DJs and interactive videos. Centrifuge, Zuri and Rouge lounges each feature their own signature cocktail list to accompany each unique decor, from red-hot leather to cool modern minimalism. The entertainment is just as diverse with the Crazy Horse Paris cabaret show, the KÀ Cirque du Soleil show, the one-of-a-kind off-site Lion Habitat and the MGM Grand Garden Arena, which has hosted everyone from Mike Tyson to Madonna. Extensive table games, cards and race and sport betting are all found within the vast MGM Grand casino. Thousands of slot machines accept everything from one-cent bets to thousand dollar bills, and a separate poker room hosts daily buy-in tournaments.

During the day most of the action is found by the South Beachinspired Wet Republic Ultra Pool, a lounge-meets-aquatic-complex that is home to pools, Jacuzzis, private cabanas and VIP poolside service. The more relaxed Grand Pool Complex is surrounded by lush plant life and flowing waterfalls. A full range of massages, body treatments, facials and salon services is available at the MGM Grand Spa and Health Club, which has steam rooms, saunas and a fully equipped gym. The hotel has two on-site wedding chapels and offers limousine service to and from the courthouse so you can retrieve a marriage license. Guests are given a choice of several bridal packages covering everything from catering to flowers. Studio Walk and the Star Lane Shops are home to a wide array of retailers ranging from Versace and Cartier boutiques to Vegas-specific gift shops.
