Sixteen year resident of Japan and direct student of Hatsumi Sensei teaches the flow of Bujinkan Taijutsu in an impromtu workshop in San Francisco in October 2009.
I just attended a Paul Masse seminar in Sydney, Australia today. I can't get enough of the guy. In my opinion one of the hidden treasures of the Bujinkan. I've been to a lot of seminars but I haven't met many who are as generous as he is.
You can really see in his style that he spends a lot of time with Hatsumi. If you look at any one in the Bujinkan you can actually tell who their teacher is by the way they move and he moves like Hatsumi. As far as being rough that is a necessary part as if you don't know what close to the real thing feels like how can you possible train with the right feeling.
Yeah, Paul is a great guy!! I trained with him when he came to Maryland last year. I learned so much in one day!!! Great video!

Cool vid. I find Mr. Masse plays a little too rough for my taste, or maybe it was just that one time,.. but he is very good at what he does.
