This episode was made for all the video game fans out there. Every four to five years the Gods bless us with a new shiny video game console (or consoles) to love and enjoy. With the Xbox 360 launch behind us and the Playstation 3 and Wii launch on the horizon, this episode seemed to fit perfectly. And so this episode is all about Joseph's obsession to obtain a brand new Pentagon. The result is an adventure Steven and Joseph will never forget.

The idea of the Pentagon console actually came from two fake Pentagon commercials Justin Huber and I made. Those commercials were pretty stupid, and so when I made the commercial that was seen in this episode, I tried to incorporate the same feeling.

The filming for this episode was a bit shaky. First of all, about half of the episode was delayed a week for filming (due to scheduling issues). Then, on the day we do film, it was incredibly windy. However, at on spot in the episode, this added a lot to it, for it gave off a "middle of nowhere" feeling.

This episode was probably the first I wrote that went through a total re-write. Things were starting to get hectic around this time in the semester and so I had to write this episode without Josh's help. When the film days were delayed, Josh and I sat down and reviewed to script. We both agreed it needed to be re-written. For instance, in the first version, over half of Joseph and Steven's antics take place in the parking lot with the key. I had wrote out an entire sequence dealing with finding a damn spare key for the car. There were plenty of other differences too. For instance, Steven and Joseph losing a tire for the car. In the end the first script felt unbalanced. We ended up taking all the good parts from the first version and incorporating them into the second while getting rid of all the crap. It was very beneficial in the end.
