I'd rather have 435 elected members of Congress (as well as the 413 members of Parliament, 308 of them elected here in Canada) running the monetary policy of the currency I use every day than 10 unelected members of the Board of Governors at a quasi public central bank (14 members of the BOD at the Bank of Canada, given the BOC is a Crown corporation). Isn't that what your Constitution says it belongs too as well?
