Chemistry Lab with Dr. Passarelli - The University of Maine Farmington

This is a quick peek inside an Organic Chemistry lab class taught by Assistant Professor of Chemistry Mariella Passarelli. The lab (part of our Pre-Med program) introduces students to the techniques of preparation, separation, purification, and identification of organic compounds, including spectroscopy. A small, hands-on laboratory-style class is just one portion of what a typical chemistry course entails the other is the lecture hall portion. This Organic Chemistry lab is taking place in Preble Hall.
