The divide and conquer strategy is working perfectly. Ridiculous far right and far left non-issues are hyped to create rabid dogs out of us.

Keith Olbermann and Bill O'Reilly aren't going to slaughter our Constitution- you and I are by enabling and consenting to having our power as citizens stripped from us. Big business and our government have declared themselves untouchable and without accountability in the name of the "free" market and the exercise of American "freedom".

Government can be our voice and mediator between unbridled exploitation and governmental oppression. But to accomplish this we have to clear our heads and focus on the real issues. We have to demand fraud be extinguished at all levels of government and by all parties concerned.

Differences can make us stronger but deceit can only divide and make us weak.

I never thought I'd live to see the day when Nixon and Reagan and Bush the First would look competent and stately. Enter Bush the Second. Exit every basic tenant of governance. Uphold the Constitution? Bah, it's just a piece of paper! Rule of law? Bah, that applies exclusively to Clinton's penis. And so on.
