he always had that debuff and is pretty easy to solo as ret paladin with some decent gear nowadays.
just use seal of light + judgement of light and run around a bit to avoid his rain of fire. i killed him without bubble or lay of hands but was almost dead by the time he died

@WolfTheMadMan Use a Restorative Potion, it will remove the curse and try too keep it off for a bit.

Ehkz, You need to be a pal and hook us up with this song. I've ripped it already, but the paladin nuking in the background is a bit distracting. I found a bunch of versions of the song via Google, but this one with the violin is super cool. Btw, thanks for the guide, my Pally was able to solo MC super easy.

This is absolutely 100% impossible without some help now. Since the changes to ret and DK's and now ghenaass spams you with shadow dmg and auto reapplies the buff. Ah the good old days when we were able to do stuff like this . :(

I went in and was able too solo it just fine yesterday, not sure what these changes are you mention.
