Dave Lindahl crashes his turbo GSXR

I crashed my gixxer in a parking lot at the Duluth airport, spent a month in the hospital, broke my neck, back, my whole face, ect., got rods all up my spine and plates in my face now

Seriously, a novice going that fast on a turbocharged 100 in a small parking lot? You are lucky that didn't happen on the road. These are the videos that should be shown to all young guys who are learning to ride.

I know I'm sounding like a dick, but I wouldn't wish that on anyone, and I'm glad you survived. I've just seen too many guys ride like this kind of thing is inevitable.

@SFWO482 I was actually kinda hoping this would have happened on the road, I've crashed a couple times doing 60-70 on the road, one time with shorts a t-shirt on, and I walked away with a couple scrapes, the curb at the end of the lot is what fucked me up.

Glad your OK, good thing you did that in a closed area too. Riding for two years and already doing a turbo on a bike... Did you have any type of back protection or leathers? I can't really tell, I know after talking to a guy that had Dainese leathers with the Wave insert, I bought the same insert for my Dainese jacket. He had a slide out and his back hit the curb. Doctors said if he didn't have the insert his back would of had more then one fracture... and most likely paralyzed.

@JustAnotherDisguise Just had a riding jacket on, yeah i know all about fractures, got 6 fractured vertebra from this, a couple I don't think you would consider fractured though cuz they are basically not there anymore, like a sledgehammer to a piece of chalk

that is brutal might want to go to a highway, ive fucked up hard like this too, luckily walked away with only scratches, crashed into a ditch at 150kmph so we all make stupid mistakes, glad your all good

I think your bikes tires werent warm up to temp and locked on you and you lost traction. Also having the bars up high didnt help much to have full control during a tank slapper good thing ur ok. Get well soon ..that was a monster bike u created btw
