No one should vote to force me to take a drug with there is no oversight for side effects. It's mass medication without informed consent: it's just plain wrong. A neighbor or a Councillor may support fluoridation but they are not doctors or pharmacists and don't have the right to force me to take any medication.
It's not pharmaceutical grade fluoride, it's industrial toxic waste of the fertilizer industry so why drink the stuff with our water? It's a foolish & dangerous practice that must stop

Thank you Carole & Robert. Excellent information & I do hope Waterloo residents get the facts before they vote. I want so desperately to see water fluoridation end. Waterloo is lucky to have an opportunity to vote. I am in the Toronto / Peel regions for water which have fluoridated since 1962. It's been 48 years since the last vote and I didn't have a say back then. I have hypothyroidism which has been life altering. Had to leave work - my doctor confirms no doubt it was fluoride.
