Isn't it a bit hypocritical for conservatives to want government off our backs and out of our lives, but wanting to bann things like abortion and gay marage?

For the record I wouldn't marry another guy, but I also won't tell someone else, (man or woman) they have no right to do so. As for abortion, I'm against that in most cases, as it's often done to escape the consequences of having sex before the two individuals are ready.

Going by you're logic on banning smoking and certain foods we should also ban Homosexuality. Since some studies show that Homosexuality is MORE dangerous than smoking.

The government should not be the food police. Second guns rights are a part of the 2nd Amendment. It was put there for self protection against big government. And free speech is free speech. So you are for outlawing or changing the 1 and 2nd Amendment and having a food police.
