agreed

it's only bad for the neck if you cut all the strings off, if you take them off properly you don't damage the bass
-
that's funny- remove the pick guard and WTF another pick up!??
adventures in outer bass - check it!
-
when i tap in between the pickups it makes the tap noise luder. does that mean i have the extra pickup under the pickguard
-
where can I get a pick guard like that?
-
thanks very much!
I really want a stingray, this helps alot :)
-
cool vid man, they should give vids like this out with EVERY bass, just to make sure people know what their bass is doing!
thank you
-
depends with what bass really, my neck is really REALLY weak, it twists with all strings on
-
Stingrays are great basses I really need to get one. Do the 5-strings play easy?
Was this a custom config done by a local luthier/guitar technician? Or, was this a custom order from Ernie Ball? I've always wanted to install a single p/u at the neck to give me a Lakland-type config. Also, is the bridge p/u stock? Thanks.

No...the only custom thing is the pickguard. Ernie ball now does a HH, HS, and regular H model. All the pickups are stock...
