@dbray1 im guessing you've only seen high school girls play on grass that don't really know how to play....have you seen any competitive field hockey? rep, provincial, national? and with the new self-pass rule, there are virtually no stoppages when you have good players

@SoulBxS Doesent sound like u know what fieldhockey is. "..but saying that hockey ball hurts?" Just so that u know, a puch and a field hockey ball has the same weight and is made og plastic, and the shots can go to the same speed. I can promish u that just a drag could hurt u. But wait, doesent ice hockey players have lots of equipment too? And i believe that will all the rules in field hockey in comparison to ice hockey, field hockey will be more skilled.

we had players from holland come and coach us in a camp once and those guys could drive the ball from the 50 yard line make a football field goal their drive is so powerful.....it went into he parking lot and hit a car haha ^_^..........btw, don't compare ice hockey to field hockey, they're both hockey but completely different sports. that's like comparing a cookie to a cupcake, doesn't happen

Personally I think American football is boring, whereas rugby is faster paced with more action. Just my opinion.

@Ravenfire385 I'm sorry have you ever played Ice Hockey? Did you know that Ice Hockey is most complex, fastest, dangerous and skilling giving team sport there is? I understand that Field Hockey was invented before but saying that hockey ball hurts? Don't be ridiculous, Ice Hockey Pucks can go up to 130mph, and even with padding it hurts like hell, that's why nobody wants to be goalie. And Rugby vs American Football? American Football wins for sure.
