It is the year 10,191, and Dino De Laurentiis has teamed up with George Lucas to make a collaboration video. Watch as 1983 movie technology merges with 1984 movie technology, to bring you the most exciting video clip EVER.

"Return of The Jedi" copyright 1983 by LFL
"Dune" copyright 1984 by Dino De Laurentiis

Yes, it's an odd edit...and Yes, it's a bit jarring...but a couple of guys at the OT.com, and I, thought it would be a fun idea to see a Sandworm swallow Jabba Sailbarge. I know LFL is fine with people uploading video of Star Wars...but I'm not sure about Universal - Please don't sue ... o_O

  • Fun fact: David Lynch was originally considered to direct Return of the Jedi

  • Kynes: "Bless the Maker and his water..may his passing cleanse the world.."

Leto: "What's that you are saying?"

    Kynes: "Nothing."

    Leto: "What?"

Kynes: "I said nothing! You deaf?"

    :P

  • Ir's Sarlacc sign the likes of which God has never seen.

  • The original sarlaac, before George Lucas added tentacles and a beak, looked very much like a sandworm's mouth. I don't think it was a coincidence.

  • WOW that is form Dune...

  • RTD2 in Dune?!

  • should have ended with patrick stewart claim of "Gods, What a Monster"

  • You have to wonder what those sandworms eat on a daily basis...

  • That was actually pretty cool
