By the way, it amuses me to no end that your excuse for this vandalism is that they were preparing to use the wall as a backdrop for a TV interview. If that were the case, the guy who tore down the Westlake sign wouldn't have just stopped at one and then moved into the main room, nor is it likely that he would have chosen to take down a poster that was ABOVE HIS HEAD.
Seriously, Johnson's needs to fire his pack of shills and pay for a better class of liar.
@roscopicosh No, you should get your facts straight. Or go to hell. I don't care which. You can see as the camera pans across at 0:08 that the orange sign there -- the same format and color as the "Duty" sign that is torn down -- clearly says "Stands up for (the?) Country - Dave Westlake".
You were lying to me about what I saw. That's not a tactic that's going to be wildly successful. Let me guess: you're a Ron Johnson shill? Does he know he has such incompetent liars on his payroll?
You can also see his compadre in the background tear down the orange Dave Westlake sign and crumple it up.
The Tea Party movement has ushered in some real class acts to the Republican Party hasn't it? This is one reason why I no longer consider myself a conservative: I could see this all coming from the proto-Tea Party movement Newt Gingrich organized to get himself elected Speaker of the House. Made me start wondering if there was any reason at all to continue considering myself conservative.
Not petty, these signs cost money and technically are personal property. You think it's petty that a candidate thinks he can destroy something that doesn't belong to him...let him do that to your things and take that position. (Personally I'm a Dave Westlake supporter and if HE were doing this, he'd lose my vote) Esther Maina
Yeah, it was probably for if anyone wanted photos so that there wasnt a terry wall sign in the background. If any of you were there, wall had about 10000 signs up all over and you can still see dozens in the background. Obviously he just didnt want that one in the immediate background of where he was greeting folks.
Fucking weasel

That wasn't a westlake sign, Null-
it was a Duffy sign, and they were taking down the signs to use the wall as a backdrop for a TV interview.
Get your facts straight, then go to hell.
