Distributed area coverage with corobot robots. The robots are covered partially with red color to let them detect and avoid each other visually. The first part of the video shows the robots avoiding each other after identifying each other visually using the red colored wrapper. The second part of the video shows two robots covering two virtual polygons...first they define the polygon boundary while avoiding obstacles or walls intruding on the boundary, then each robot uses a spanning tree coverage algorithm to cover the inside of their respective recently bounded polygon.
