Voting With the Pret A Voter Prototype v1

Illustrates the process of voting with the Pret a Voter secure electronic voting system (prototype version 1). The video shows a ballot form audit (to check the list of candidates, who are listed in a random order on the ballot form, is correctly encoded) and the casting of a vote. Note the removal of the candidate list from the votes in advance of voting, to preserve ballot secrecy. Note also the production of a receipt for the voter to take away to prove how he voted.

If the voter retains a complete receipt (both sides of the ballot), then s/he can later prove to a third party the way s/he voted, thereby enabling one to sell their vote.
