mariah is very smart. she made a song that he sings very good. she makes a concept is not boring. her style is. I heard her songs and I think she's always out melisma at the beginning of the song and then she shot the high notes perfectly. she mixed melisma, falsetto, whistle, and a high voice. This truly remarkable

Why don't people ever give her the credit she deserves?! She is truly underrated. She's one of those artists that won't be fully appreciated and celebrated until after her death (besides lambs and non-ignorant people).

Mariah is a undoubtedly a very talented singer but her treatment of this song does not have the power of the original.... but who does? Makes you realise what an exceptionally powerful and emotional vocal Stevie has - btw this has been one of my favourite songs since it was orginally the 'b'side to I Wish - not really a b side as it is a song worthy of attention in itself...
