  • @Comag65 i have PTSD, chronic depression, and IED, and im only 14, but i have lashed out at police, teachers, friends, whatever, and it never matters even if there are 400 people in the room, people dont understand unless they have it

  • i have this disorder. one time i was working and 3people insulted me and my work ethics. so 2years later i saw my chance to get revenge. i ended up setting their summer home on fire. i have also got into a fight were it got so bad i cant remember anything but black. even though i got into this fight and won i still want revenge. i cant help it unless i do xanax.this disorder sucks.

  • I wonder if this is often misdiagnosed as bipolar disorder.

  • This is the most ridiculous bee-ess ever...how long before there's a pill and legal defense for this? Our WHOLE society is founded on impulse control disorder, and modern psych professions are cashing in everywhere they can...colossal scam...amazing how these disorders are exponentially increasing...

  • This is called "my profession is a joke but I will try to justify it by giving a name to every behavior I see" disorder.

  • Im currently taking therapy for this in hope I can prevent from lashing out physically on myself and inanimate objects. Anyone with IED can be different from others with it, some take it out on other individuals, objects, or even themselves.

  • @Comag65 They just don't understand the only person who will ever understand is another individual suffering from the same disorder I have IED and BPD so that makes it even worse and like you has caused me to also get into trouble and Idiots who look at you like you are the idiot are the idiots themselves

  • is the violent part of this required to be considered IED? i know someone who has all these symptoms but does not get physically violent, but does become verbally violent. they also have triggers. it does tend to happen slightly gradually at first and then an explosive response will suddenly happen.

  • You psych dOctors and teachers everywhere are full of SHIT!! How you could call yourselves teachers and doctors is sick! You don't see your profession ripping off innocent people who trusted you as a friend for a Goddamn percentage!

  • I have IED as weel and in some cases i had abused my disease
