kiratas people are most found in nepal but they are also spread in lots of part of india like darjeeling, sikkhim, assam, tripura, uttarkhand and himalchal pradesh. kiratas are very mongoloid in facial features. when nepal was invaded by rajputs of india kiratas had to sperate. all other kiratas clans live in eastern and western nepal execpt two clans they wer dhimals and tharus. tharus mostly moved to western terai and dhimal settled in eastern terai. so tharus are kiratas we also have evidence

This actually wrong. Tharu are the descents of kirati people. Kirati or Kiratas pople were the natives of Himalayas or one wandering over the forest. Kirati people are also mentioned in Veda, Puranas, Ramayana and Mahabharata Epics. Kiratas people also fought for kauravas against pandavs. there king was called Yalamber and Kiratas were the one on the Elephants basically Elephant warrior. It was really hard to kill kiratas thats why krishna killed their king yalamber with his strongest weapon.
