why did they change the name..i think the old owner now whtever he is is trying to do some gimmicky thing like make people think its the whalers again with the "whales" BUT THATS GARBAGE.. if you not going to bring back the whalers dont give us some BS "whale" the Wolfpack was a good name and i thought their logo was sick!!!

i rather the whalers 2 but the wolfpack go to the playoffs every year and if they dont get another nhl team the wolfpack will be here to stay for the next decade at least hey its been 13 years so far

Oh dont get me wrong. It will be at least 10 years (probably more) untill anyone even thinks of putting an NHL team back in Hartford.
Plus Winipeg and Quebec are ahead of Hartford for an NHL team.

The fact that they arent getting a new NHL team. Believe me I would like an NHL team but the reality is there isn't going to be.

Dude. You should be lucky that Hartford actually has hockey. The Pack are much better than the Whalers have been and ever will be.
