National Novel Writing Month is upon us... and so begins the season of keeping strange hours, procrastinating more than usual and general craziness. This is what an average night in November looks like for me. Lots of almost writing and then giving up. You don't want to see the cramming sessions during the last week. Its just ugly.

It's day sixth and I've gotten 9,100 but I haven't written a single word today. I'm a little behind because I didn't reach 1,667 words yesterday and a few days ago I probablly only wrote 1,000 or maybe even 500. :( I really should be past the 10,000 mark. Ah well, I guess I'll do all of my catching up today. Hopefully, I'll get almost to 11,000 words today. *crosses fingers*

Love this. Doing NaNoWriMo this year. Only just discovered it.

I too am doing NaNoWriMo this year. My spirits are low though because i'm only at 26, 000 when i SHOULD be in the 40, 000's... but alas. I must keep telling myself that i can do it! Best of luck to u! Happy Writing!
