After looking up more actors and videos, I have modified a bit my first version of the outlander casting I think would be best. I have changed mostly the bigger roles, for some reason , I find the smaller role easier to cast hihi.

Jude Law is an exceptionally good choice for Lord John. And Jeremy Irons would be an inspired choice for Murtaugh. I love Gerard (have ever since the Bio pic of him as Attila...Yum!! But in reading some of the comments on here given the way Chris Hemsworth bulked up for Thor I think he might be a VERY good choice for jamie. he is still young enough to play 22 or 23 Jamie's age in Outlander.

Wow Uma would make an amazing Geillis. I think Brianna would be the hardest to cast. I always picture her as a tall, strong and curvy girl...and young actresses are always too thin and petite!

We picked the same Geillis. The more I see Rachael Weis as Claire in these videos, the more I can see her playing the part.

I think Rachel is a much better choice for Claire than Keri but when I read the books I always seem to picture Kate Beckinsale

The rights have been sold a few times I think. But so far it doent seem like this will come soon. Just us dreaming haha

Great choices!!! I can SEE her as Claire...as she was in the MUMMY...and NO for Gerard...too fleshy...but MAYBE for Gabriel (if he could act)...I still havent seen the GREAT actor for Jamie and it needsw to be great!!!

Me too, the more I think about it less I see Butler playing Jamie.
I think Chris Hemsworth would be very good.

love love love your choices -- exceptions: Gabriel Aubrey-Jamie -- Gerald does not have the height/weight to play the J man.
