In 1985, High Rollers attempted to make a sort of different revival, called Lucky Numbers. It used the same dice concept, except that the numbers won prizes if you won a match, except the 7. Alex Trebek hosts, with Debbie Sue Maffett rooting the players on. Part 1 of 4

  • Ah, this was the pilot prior to High Rollers with Wink Martindale! I recognized the theme song.

  • Never heard this game show.

  • I got some moans and groans out of your mother last night, Trebek!

  • The model only introducing the contestants and doing the prize plugs it would foreshadow what would occur 20 years later.

  • This theme went on to be used for High Rollers.

  • High Rollers meets Craps!

  • @gshowguy thx for the info

  • @ben1245689 I think this was shot for CBS...

  • @puppyshoes Nope-- sounds like John Harlan to me.

Though I thought I heard about another LN pilot where Dean did announce while Alex remained host.

  • @SimplyKevTV I think thats dean goss
