come on Latin America wake up! we are brothers, from the same land all the way from Alaska to the Argentina. we have been divided by our enemies. Its is our enemies best interest to keep us separated. If you try to brake one single pencil you will easily brake it. But try to brake 20 of them together as one, and united they will stay strong.

U.S. wants to destroy our democracy. The coup they did against the democratically elected president Hugo Chavez in 2002 (Venezuela), remembers the coup against Allende in 1973 (Chile), but this time...they failed.

@petibatyo You state your proposition as fact without proof. However, I can offer numerous scholarly resources to reinforce this news article:
Legacy of Ashes: The History of the CIA by Tim Weiner
The Shock Doctrine: The Rise of Disaster Capitalism by Naomi Klein
Empire's Workshop: Latin America, The United States and the Rise of the New Imperialism by Greg Grandin
Simple reflections on Iran/contra, US support of Augusto Pinochet, etc. will show where the real lies and distortions are.

Every country has the right to run their country the was they see fit and the U.S. cannot and will never have the right to play God and instill it's own brand of "democracy" throughout the world. They are just one country out of many, many, many, many countries.

FRogstomp121: I agree with U. But the hispanics community in this continent aren't perfect and has to change its attitude too. I don't agree those who always blames the US for every single thing that happens in Latinamerica. Look the Coup in Honduras. Here is an internal conflict going on but there are plenty of people that blames the Obama administration for that. Therefore both US and Latinamerica should change and primarily in taking resposability of their own actions.

Until the United States abolishes the Monroe Doctrine, there will never truly be peace between America and it's Latin America neighbour. Until the United States learns to get along with a communist/ socialist/ marxist-leninist government and stops telling other countries how to run things, as if the U.S. was the only country with an opinion, there will never be peace between them.
America should apologies for the" deadly " politic they use against latin america! Stop Repression!
