ShowLED demo featuring 2 ShowLED Animation starcloths 2m x 2m; 1 with 100 LEDs/m² placed in a grid, one with 64 LEDs/m² randomly placed. This demo shows that a curtain with LEDs that are randomly placed can produce visuals that are as nice as a starcloth with almost the double of LEDs placed in a matrix. Seems like the human brain fills up the gaps in a random positioned low res LED panel better than in a matrix low res LED panel. Video's with organic shapes also look better on a backdrop with randomly placed LED's. Visit www.showled.com for more info...

Are you controlling LED brightness with PWM? If so, is each LED individually driven, or is the circuit a row & column matrix? (Maybe I should first be asking whether this was built by you or a purchased product?)
