This was the Perfect TV Series. My favorite series of all-time, and I'm an "old" guy. The casting was brilliant and Brittany Snow was just great in her role. I really identified with her, growing up in that era. Using the newer artists to reprise the old classics was a great move and it almost always worked. This was one of the few modern series which was not dumbed down and always maintained a high moral ground. I wish that they had maybe one more season. Too bad that NBC cancelled it.

@bubblinbrownsugar616 wow, I would love too see this show do a comeback but put it during 1956 to 1968 and have the show Other than American Bandstand, make it Ed Sullivan Show. :D

@ChrisBurtonCanada Someone did put up the first few episodes of it but I don't know if youtube took it down or not and of course it's plenty of clips with artists today playing as artists back then on the show. My favorite was Ashanti playing Dionne Warwick. :)
