I love Mayo's voice as Kenshin. Especially in one episode where Kenshin is singing in the circus. It always cracks me up. Kenshin, not Mayo, is a terrible singer. XD I love her "I Know Tears aka Namidaa wa Shitteiru. Beautiful song.

Miss Mayo looked really good in 2008 at 50 years old. :3

The Japanese voice of Goku in DBZ was also done by a woman. I think it balances out the fact that they're warriors and very masculine, but also very compassionate. In other words, it adds a dimension to them that isn't just brawn. I think her voice suited the Japanese Kenshin perfectly! Honestly I typically dont like the english dubs because they change the translation and tone of the character, which in turn changes details about the character's personality. I've always liked the originals.
