Dear Ronnie's, you were such a genius. I agree wholeheartedly with all the positive comments here. His view on what was important in life struck a chord with most people who heard his music. I loved your simple melodies and beautiful arrangements, the lovely rustic feel to the sound. It truly came from the heart. Miss you Ronnie's, R.I.P. hope you still travelling in your Gypsy Caravan somewhere above us and know that your are truly loved by those that knew your music and loved your soul.

Ronnie Lane, what a songwriter and musician and what a beautiful piece of music and poetry this is. Before the onslaught of Thatcher and the machine of corporatism.

The dear departed: Ronnie, Steve Marriott and Lee Brilleaux are so overlooked and somewhat forgotten these days....lets raise a glass or 6 to remember their brilliance! Cheers, chaps!

How did someone so loved, talented and respected end up with nothing? It's hard to believe these wonderful songs were mostly ignored at the time.Poor Plonk never had any luck when he needed it.

They say that he was such a lyricist. I loved his stuff with THE FACES (hell of a bass player too)!!
Legend! RIP.
