CHAPTER 6: THE PEOPLE THAT NEVER EXISTED (1). www.gestae.com historiaoculta@gmail.com. The tales and folk legends expose in a fabled manner many of the events that have taken place in the past. We have not to underestimate them, much less to reject them. The reference to giants, pygmies, witches, ogres and dragons could refer to races that have lived together in a certain area, thousands of years ago. For instance, in the Grotte des Enfants, near Cannes, we find, a few feet away, individuals of two different races: Cro-Magnon and Grimaldi. There we found shells from the Far East, which shows the relationship between the two ends of the world: Asia and Europe. A Cro-Magnon race, with high stature and red hair, lived in much of the planet; many remains of this people are preserved all over the world. The dwarves of the tradition would be descendants of the Semang pygmies from Southeast Asia. Witches would be the priestess of an ancient culture of matriarchal affiliation. This syncretic mixture of races (Cromagnon, Semang, Mongoloid) might have given rise to civilization in China (the Neolithic culture known as Yangshao?). They could have left traces of presence in the Indo-European tradition of the Tarim valley (the so-calledTocharian or Arci), on the upper Mekong (Dian culture), or even in Oceania (especially in Polynesia).
