If you want to bench press 225 or heavier then you must learn proper bench press form. Bench pressing and getting a big bench press is all about form and technique and not about using more weight. To bench press more weight your workout must be set up to help your bench. Look at people that bench press 225 at the NFL combine, they know proper technique and form.

    isnt it bad if you bring the bench down too low (passed 90 angled)? i read and heard that it can damage you joints or something in the long run

    I usually life max only once and after that i do 6 sets of 10 reps with something like 50kg or 55kg

    actually it is pair of 20 because the bar usually is 20kg itself and you will count its weight too soo it is bar(20kg) + 20kg each side of the bar
