Lecture given in Bologna, Italy 8 April 2005 for the 19th Biennial Symposium for the former HBIGDA - Harry Benjamin Gender Dysphoria Association and now WPATH, the World Professional Association for Transgender Health. This covers my experience performing cricothyroid approximation surgery (CTA) as well as a newer procedure, the Feminization Laryngoplasty surgery (FemLar).
Honestly, the post operative results don't sound female to me. I know its not what you want to hear, but ...
Its great that you're doing the research necessary to change this though. Its a big issue for blending in.

@MsMsmak Thanks for the feedback. To help you out with the context of the talk. I performed the first FemLar surgery in 3/2003 and this talk was given in 2005, so I had done less than a dozen patients and did not have follow up on all of them at the time. I have continued to develop the procedure, now having done about a hundred procedures. Some more current follow up is available at voicedoctor net under media, cases, pitch

@docvox Well, I'd upload another video perhaps showing before and after. This doesn't really help convince anyone. :<
