I met Bebel in Blackpool a couple of years ago. Now I'm lucky to know a lot of extremely good close-up guys, but none of them have fooled me quite like this little French man. A true genius.
I was wondering. Anyone know where he performs? What street in Paris can I find him?
Currently I don't speak, read or understand French. However finding this DVD has just inspired me to learn. Enrolling on a course as I type.
Well , I don't speak one word of French , but I understood most of the effects and explanations on the DVD. I miss the gags and that stuff built around the pattern , and sometimes the heckers-handling but that's enough for me : sleights and pictures are an universal language , and Bèbel speak it very well.
You may try to buy it , and , if you just can't get what you should , re-sell it =)
I met him once in Paris I guess (can't remember where I met him), with his little table, doing impossible tricks, I wanted to worship his skills once he fooled me thrice in a row, he's really awesome, I just hope for you that someone will sub his video someday.

Unfortunately, it seems it is only availble in French - no subtitles. Considering my french is horrible, I most likely won't get it, although it is ever so tempting. Having seen him perform live within an arm's reach and being fooled like never before, I really want to learn his material, haha.
J'ai reçu mon DVD hier matin (en l'ayant commandé 24h avant sur le site de Fabrice Delauré), je m'attendais pas à ce que ce soit aussi rapide !!! Je l'ai donc regardé et Waaouh... quelle virtuosité ce Bebel! J'ai trouvé la réalisation particulièrement soignée, ça change de ce qu'on peut voir d'habitude je trouve. Bref, je ne suis pas déçu et je vais me le re-regarder là tiens... Merci Bebel.
