Dr Yvonne Mitchell, A native Houstonian, was raised in Houston, Texas. She is the middle child of (2) two other sisters Mary the youngest and Sadie the eldest. Sadie passed several years ago leaving the two sisters to share their mother and grandmother who raised all of them in a single parent home.


Dr Mitchell is widely traveled. She has travel to several international countries and 40 states. The countries include Africa, Peru, Italy, Israel, Mexico. Dr. Mitchell has received 8 degrees in education and administration. She holds a B S Elementary Education, B S Social Sciences, Masters Guidance/Counseling, Master in Special Education, Art -- Education . Certifications: Pre-School Ed., Kindergarten, Office Administration.


She also holds a Doctorate of Theology & Certification of Christian Education -- Clergy Administration

Dr. Mitchell is a retired educator. Her first teaching experience began in California at Ft Ord Military Base for 7 yrs., Texas experiences include instructing kindergarten., first, third, fifth. Eight, ninth, tenth, eleventh & twelfth grades. She instructed junior college students for 12 yrs. At Houston Community College.

Dr Mitchell is presently working in audio media communications as an on-air personality with KWWJ Radio station, which she has been associated with for the past 21 yrs.
