@prodigy2725 Good for you!!! that you caught that !!! you are even more brilliant than her!!!! I'm sure she took some creative liberties as many artist do!! And she also may have revised it slightly due to the fact that she's a girl and considering her audience (which we were able to completely see).
Her racist rants are obviously given to her by her racist parents...sad...where is the CYS when you need them..this child needs to be taken from her home and put in a home with LOVING parents..not HATE FILLED RACIST PARENTS!
Its now doubt this little girl is very smart and I have no problem with her being pro black, but Is she old enough to form these opinions on her own. Or is she being fed on the opinions of her father. God also he judging her by what is in her heart. So like whoever is influencing her with the opinions that she has God is also judging you buy your heart. God is god of love not of hatred. God loves all people no matter what race. We are all sinners no one is perfect.
I have known sister Autumn for a minute, I am not going to absord the negative comments but say that this little sister is AMAZING..GOD BLESS AUAUTMN ASHANTE..
She is a little girl u piece of shit, r u mad because the little spirit u have left sees their is something special about us niggas huh. now you understand y your ancestors fighting so hard to keep us down. caveman from the caucas mountAINS GET A LIFE. GOD SEES YOU AND HE IS JUDGING YOU BY YOUR HEART
While I am happy to see this girl undertake the valiant task of memorizing and reciting poetry, Miss Ashante made several errors which should be noted.
The most glaring ommision is of the line "I am not even a girl." The poem, from Brooks's 1991 book CHILDREN COMING HOME is in fact int he voice of a five year old boy named Merle. Brooks talks about the poem's genesis in a book of interviews which can be found of google books. The complete, correct text of the poem can be found online.
@prodigy2725 Does it even matter that she creatively modified the poem? Does it take away from the message? My goodness.
