The Shetland Islands (Part Two)

Shot on September 2, 2008. Part two begins as we continue driving through the scenic hills of the Shetland Islands. We make a scenic stop at a vista overlooking some of the other islands. We pass more shetland ponies on our scenic drive back to Lerwick. Once back in Lerwick I take a nice walk through this picturesque town which is by far the northernmost town in Scotland, as well as in the entirety of the United Kingdom. While there I also walk through Fort Charlotte. The video concludes as we sail away from Lerwick, tracing the rugged coasts of Mainland Island.

I used to live in the Shetland islands on yell further north then Lerwick and is nice too see people gain such enjoyment from there. You visited on a nice day, lucky you! xxx

@cecigw I've only really realised quite recently how lucky I was to live in Shetland for three years.  My mum is from up there, and I went there to work between the ages of 18 and 21. The people are down to earth and friendly, and the pubs are fantastic. Even when the weather is bad, there is a warmth to the place.
