ESPN College Gameday Nebraska vs USC

This is the first footage I captured with my new Canon XG-A1, and I thought I would post it up because it helped me when I was shopping for cameras to see some footage from different cameras. Heres the info about what you watching.

- ESPN College Gameday, September 17th, 2007 - Nebraska vs USC
- Shot with a Canon XH-A1
- Shot in 1080i, 24f(24p)
- Didn't bother editing it much, just through some music with it so it wasn't so boring

Here are my thoughts about the Canon XH-A1
+ Fantastic image quality and color
+ 1080i looks amazing
+ 24p looks like film
+ Low light performance is uncontested
+ So many different professional controls I don't know what to do with myself
+ 20x Zoom is fantasic, and when you 20x zoomed in, you can keep it steady with no problem.
+ 2 XLR inputs, Sound quality is perfect, even on the default shotgun.
- The LCD is a little small, but who cares
- Super close ups are too hard to focus without a macro/special lens (But you can always upgrade)

I stood on the sideline and watched the player taunt the crowd after walking off the field. Classy.

You guys played very well, it was obvious you were the better team. HOWEVER, I respect Pete Carrol alot less after I saw the stunt that he pulled with the two injured players. They both were down for about 20 minutes, halting all of our momentum. And they BOTH got up and just walked off the field. One of the actually looked over to the crowd and made a gesture like "haha you so dumb" and smiled widely.
