  • Has anyone asked how many Ground Zero's the U.S. Army has created near Mosques in Muslim countries? Because I find that offensive.

  • i really like this woman. alot of sense comes out of her mouth

  • According to a NY Times article, there was a Muslim prayer room in the WTC (17th floor, south tower), so what exactly is the problem?

  • "A jewish lesbian socialist" That's what I would want to be if I lived in America, hehe! Saying "In your retarded, bigoted face" to as many people as possible!! : )

  • I wouldn't like to see any more religious building built anywhere.

  • @Mrparrot73 Wahhhhhhhhhh.

  • @Alkindi90 It works like this. If I were a Muslim, I would be ashamed at the sight of Ground Zero. The fact that a Muslim would choose that spot to celebrate his faith tells you something terrible about the Muslim mind. No one ever said that you can't legally build a mosque near ground zero, just that Muslims would be judged by that action.

  • Erecting a mosque near the site of the World Trade center is completely offensive! Think about it. The religion of Islam itself was used as "fuel" to drive our attackers' strike against innocent American families. It's like building a dynamite shop near the site of an attack involving dynamite (though dynamite was orignally used as a tool to help construction, it was used in this hypothetical situation to end lives). Even if I were Muslim, I would be offended by the perversion of my religion.

  • @totakikay speaking about Israel, i just watched Benjamin Natanyahu interview with Hannity yesterday. now Bibi is not religious, yet he was citing the Bible during the interview because he realize how religious this country is. He was talking about how Israel is the land of Abraham, Issac, Israel..etc. The secular state of israel is using the bible as a fucking title deed. how different it really is when you are not killing gays or abusing women, while denying the right of the palestinains?

  • @totakikay what does Israel and Islamic regimes have to do with this AMERICAN Islamic center? these people are American Muslims. America will never be an Islamic state, as a matter of fact i'm afraid that America is an Evangelical Christian nation led by people like Pat Robertson. it is true that the condition of gays and women in muslim majority country is bad, but christians aren't really that different. the only reason they are not killing them because of the American secular Constitution.

  • @totakikay I understand what you are saying and I am a liberal myself, but she is only defending the right for a religious group to build a community center in an area that is not even on Ground Zero, but a few blocks from it. Yes if she did live in an Islamic country she would not survive cause they are brutal there to both women and gays, yet that is not the point. Oh and I do not think America will become an Islamic state just because of a mosque they're buliding in New York. Give me a break.
