This movie theater was a fantastic place to watch a movie on Saturday afternoon.

  • I grew up in Neenah during the 60' and 70's. During the summer we would go to the movie every saturday afternoon. Half of the fun was getting there. I lived on the island and we would follow the train tracks there. Some of the best times were at halloween. They would play B horror movies like Bucket of Blood, Tales From the Cript, House of Dark Shadows, and most of the Hammer horror movies. It was a very fun place to go.

  • I saw my first movie here.....It was Twister with Paxton and Hellen Hunt.

I really miss this place. This was such a historic little nook of Downtown Neenah that has unfortunately been taken over for Bergstrom Buildings and now Plexus. It looks nothing like it did when i was very young in the early 90's.

  • still can't believe they tore this down for Bergstrom's dumb-ass office buildings!

  • Thanks for posting - brings back a ton of memories.

  • Wow! I live in Neenah and didn't get to see the old theater, so this is a treat! I wish I could've seen it in its glory some 100 years ago. It's hard to believe they tore it down to build an office tower.
