Fort Worth's Finest - Unnecessary Use of Force (Police Misconduct)

I recorded this clip on my iPhone using CyCorder some time around the fall/winter transition of 2008. It took me forever to get this clip off my cracked iPhone... I hope if anybody involved in this incident had to go to trial, you weren't hurt by not having this footage during your criminal trial. Hopefully, if needbe, you can pursue a civil claim, if you so desire.

I am not here to make good cops look bad. Most of this clip is unedited and without music to obstruct what ACTUALLY happened. I have marked this video to show what I consider to be misconduct... if you disagree, put it in the comments section below.

Unfortunately, even with all the work I've put into this, my own little Cop Watch story, I cannot claim credit for this project out of fear of retaliation from FWPD. This police department is what it is... if you're a minority, young, or especially a dude with an attractive female - BE ON THE LOOKOUT for the bad apples. They're the ones that STINK.

And for all you good police officers out there, keep up the good work! Remember, only YOU have the authority to stop your rabid partner while responding to a 'scene' (if the abusee tries to defend himself from police brutality, it's 'resisting arrest' unless a video happened to be recorded by a passerby. Do NOT cover for your partner, and do NOT encourage him.

PS If you're not familiar with how police investigations work... you should look into it. Basically, police are responsible for ensuring fellow police are not involved in misconduct... this is why errant police officers usually don't get let go, unless they are clearly red-handed / big publicity. Of course, this particular footage is nothing major... just a reminder that:

I saw this happen. What the idiot videoing doesnt know is that the people who were arrested had been fighting and an innocent bystander had been hurt.If u are going to record something at least know what you are talking about. If it had been u that had been hurt u would have been glad they were there. I dont always agree with methods but the guy videoing didn't have a clue about what had happened. Cops did the right thing. Too bad they didn't arrest the video'r, that would have been better.

You always have the right to record, as long as you're not obstructing the scene (about 20 feet away). If police intimidate you, make sure somebody else is recording you, too.

Video doesn't show anything. Horrible Camera work. And it doesnt show what happened right at the start. You say you don't believe in censorship, but why didn't you record the two people fighting before the police got there and someone not involved in the fight getting hurt.

than seriously at 42 seconds of this film theres a guy trying to attack the officers so they used the force that they are trained to use
