Mafia 2 - Pedal to the Metal [125mph] Achievement (720p HD)

In Mafia 2 there's a fun achievement/trophy in which you must drive a vehicle up to the speed of 125mph. I used the Ascot Bailey, after maxing out the tuning in a shop it has a top speed of 127 mph. Find the location in the video and floor it, use your horn to divert the traffic away from you. You don't have to live to earn the achievement/trophy after 125mph... but some how I managed then celebrated by doing donuts.

can this only be done with the ascot bailey and what difficulty were you doing it on 'cause on hard that just doesn't happen i followed your instructions and come close but it just doesn't happen message me on this please

@888death888 is your engine tuned to the max? Your tires don't matter, you just need to tune that car's engine to the max at a shop. I've done 128mph in that car.

@888death888 sorry for the late reply, I did it on medium, I haven't even played the game on Hard yet. That's weird that I just doen't work for you. Is the car's engine tuned to the max in the shop? You must tune the engine to the max then find that long bridge in the video to get the car up to that speed. It'll take that whole stretch of bridge to get to achieve 125mph so give your self a little head start before entering the bridge. Let me know how it goes.

@888death888 i done it with the ISW 508 which you can only get in Joe's Adventures and Jimmy's Vendetta but it's fast as anything when you tune it up to the maximum :)

I've done this achievement while playing Jimmy's Vendetta DLC and I tuned up to the maximum the fastest car in the game and went flat out over the bridge going the way towards the city (where the tall buildings are) and the car shot out in the air and now in Game Statistics it says:

FASTEST SPEED : 349.21 MPH

i got this with the walker rocket car trust me that car is way faster then that car even without it being full tuned oh yea and it has to be on easy because i got the hot rod full tuned and did it on hard but i didnt get to 125 and the hot rod is the fastst car

*Sigh* I remember doing this achievement the exact same way as this guy... Except I didn't know about the dead end. I crashed going 126mph, AND I had to start the entire chapter over because I didn't save to that point.
