A general overview of the Waffen SS. In general most people remember the "SS" as killing innocent people or P.O.W's. However, a great majority of Waffen SS soldiers exhibited unbelievable fighting ability.
Perhaps the greatest exploit is Michael Whitman's defense of Villers-Bocage

  • Airpower beats powerful tanks!

  • Notice how in a lot of places the narration doesn't match up with the video at all?

  • Nazi fuckheads.

  • respect for all fighting men

  • It's sad really, we generalize, but when we specify, we focus on things while ignoring outside facts. SS were soldiers, soldiers to the core, proud men who did their duty. Problem is, MANY of them did atrocious things that are below the moral standards of humanity and willingly for the sake of Germany. However, one thing is true, If there was no Hitler, the SS would have been much different. But there was a Hitler, so sadly, these brainwashed elite fighting soldiers have to pay for that.

  • @falcon010216 interesting how some of these soliders killed Jews while proudly waving a swastika, no?

  • @MalteseFalcon786 problem is, no one wants paperwork and complaints from outside dogmatic, narrowminded opinion. They have to refuse, looking good for the cameras of the world matter more than integrity nowadays.

  • @Sskiss in this case, the poor love the war. SS were men who were brainwashed, men who sought to regain the pride they had lost, and men who followed a man who promised gold, but in return for blood.

  • @Sskiss in this case, the poor love the war.

  • This was a truly wonderful documentary. Thank you for adding this, kingtiger88
