That's because it's a video clip. If you want in depth insight read his three volume work totaling around 1900 pages explaining 1st century Judaism, the historical Jesus, life after life after death, etc. in great detail. It's not written at a popular level though.
Vol. 1 The New Testament and the People of God
Vol. 2 Jesus and the Victory of God
Vol. 3 Resurrection and the Son of God

this guy is annoying because in video clip after video clip, he keeps saying, "this is very strange" or "i don't really understand that" or "i don't know what that will be". well if the guy can't offer any insights then why is he being sought as a source of explanation???

@viktorybane So, It's not just God's mercy and grace which saves us. He needs our "Yes" to save the world. That's righteousness by your intellectual (or emotional) work. You will have to understand it, to grasp it by your mind and your heart. And if you can't understand or accept, then maybe you haven't thought enough. Or felt enough. Try harder, attend the service, read the bible, pray - and at the end, you will maybe believe. That's because our loving God depends on your mindwork! [/irony]

EVerytime I think that Jesus really DID rise from the dead, it fills my soul with joy and hope that everything will be ok, and that there IS life after death!

Jesus made seven statements while on the cross, one of them was to a criminal beside him on a cross...he said that you will be in paradise with me today,I think the paradise of today is heaven in the present as a new heaven and earth will be created after the end of the tribulation.

@viktorybane I think believeing is more a matter of fealing. Once you feel Christ with your heart, there's no way back, you know that's the way to go, even though you chose not to.

@Zipster0007 If you go to hell, or paradise, your going into the earth, the grave of the dead who dont accept Gods message is Hades the place most of the KJV calls hell, and gehenna which is what you call Hell is in the KJV the Lake of Fire which Hades is cast into., this is where they will stay until judgement.

The term 'paradise' referred to here (from Lk 23:43) is term that the original readers would have understood as a reference to the the Garden of Eden. In the LXX the same term is used in Gen 2:8, 13:10 & Ezek 31:8 to refer to this. In Isa 51:3 the term takes on a messianic aspect. NT Wright seems to have missed this here and the theology of the garden of the day.
Yes we will be judged according to our works but we are saved through faith. All we must do to be saved is belive in Christ. As it says "no one comes to the father except through the son.
