volvo 480 turbo test: conclusion

Part of a test between the, at the time brand new Volvo 480 Turbo, the VW Golf GTI 16Valve and the Honda Prelude 2.0 4WS (4 wheel steered).
In this part: driving on snow, braking with and w/o ABS (The Volvo was not fitted with ABS), pricing and conclusion.

i don't know where they get this crap volvo but my 480 has got a 60L tank and i don't think i'm the schumacher but i go fast enough and it still drinks not more than 10 litres... even on snow:)

People i know who have a turbo also told me they use about 10L avarage max.

My average fuel consumption is about 8 liters /100km and also have an 60L tank, but no Turbo engine (would like one though), just a 1.7i.

They have changed the fueltank capacity on later models.

480's have a 48 litre tank and so does my 480 Turbo. And my car drinks 9 litres per 100 km when I drive normally and around 7 litres while ecodriving. Don't know where they got 11,6 from, that's way too high.

More people are telling me the fuel consumption is way to high.

Later models also have a 60L tank like mine.
