This song will never get old and Harry Belafonte is a LIVING ICON. Harry is the man, and you can tell just by his smile that he's genuine! Even though some "newer" so called "original" artists have sampled this brilliant track in the recent years, there's a reason why this version, and only this version, is called the "original." It was a poster for the movie "Bobby" which featured Harry Belafonte, along with a ton of other famous actors, that was loosely based on the last living hours of Presidential candidate Robert Kennedy in 1968. I'm pretty sure Harry knew Bobby Kennedy since they both were champions of Civil Rights back in the 1960's. It's such a shame that Bobby was assassinated because if he had lived he easily could have gone on to become one of the greatest Presidents our country has ever known
