Cabramatta: Little Indochina in Sydney

30多年前，這個城鎮被澳洲政府設立給從印度支那移民來澳洲的難民居住的，大多都是越南華人，越南人和柬埔寨人。當年1975年印度支那爆發戰爭迫使大批難民移居海外。如­今，Cabramatta是個充滿色彩的一個可愛小東南亞城鎮，包含著豐富的閩粵文化，越南文化，柬埔寨文化等等。主要語言為越南話，潮州話，廣東話，柬埔寨話。在Cab­ramatta居住的越南人，英語學不好，粵語卻學的很好呢！這個城鎮非常有人情味，人人都很和善，越南老板看到我和朋友在看他烤蛋糕，笑瞇瞇問候我們還問我們要不要嘗一­嘗味道呢～近年來這里的閩粵華人和越南人也開始學普通話了。
